REMEMBERING TUCK: A GENTLE SOUL AT RED BUD ISLE

A HEARTFELT TRIBUTE TO A LOVED ONE

On a quiet day by the water, I had the honor of photographing Tuck - a beautiful senior pup whose spirit left a deep impression on me. Tuck was blind, but it didn't stop him from enjoying the world with the calm and quiet strength only older dogs seem to carry. Born on May 5, 2012, and crossing the rainbow bridge on May 21, 2025.

During our session, he stayed calm and centered, leaning on his mom Jodie's soft voice and guiding hands. The way he responded to her - with total trust and love - was beautiful to witness.

Jodie had been his tireless advocate in the last months of his life, and this session was her way of honoring all the years they spent together.

I'm so thankful I got to help preserve Tuck's memory. He was the kind of dog who left a quiet mark on your heart - a big one.

Rest easy, Tuck. Your smile will always shine bright.
