LAKE AUSTIN ELOPEMENT

A Dreamy Sunset Elopement on Lake Austin - Bengi & Jake

ree

If you’ve ever dreamed of exchanging vows beneath a watercolor sky with nothing but water, wind, and your person beside you, Bengi & Jake’s sunset elopement on Lake Austin is going to steal your heart. Their day was the perfect mix of laid-back romance and thoughtful intention—proof that simplicity can be utterly breathtaking.

Set against the serene backdrop of Lake Austin, their celebration felt like a page out of a dream. The couple kept things small and deeply personal, opting for a private dock ceremony timed perfectly with golden hour. As the sun dipped low, the water glowed and trees rustled softly around them. The whole moment felt suspended in time.

Bengi wore a beautiful satin gown, while Jake kept it timeless in a suit and tie—effortlessly cool and completely in the moment. They brought along a handful of their closest loved ones (plus their sweet dog, Maeve) to witness their vows.

After the ceremony, the group toasted with champagne right by the water’s edge—nothing elaborate, just love, joy, and the people who mattered most.

And the photos? Pure magic.

From soft, glowy portraits on the dock to dreamy silhouettes against the fading light, every image captured the essence of who Bengi and Jake are together: adventurous, grounded, and deeply in love.

After receiving their gallery, Bengi shared:

“I worked with Meg for my wedding and Capitol shoot. She helped me a lot. She made all the stress I had that day disappear. I fell in love with my photos! Highly recommend to everyone. The best photographer in Austin!”

From the soft lake breeze to the slow, meaningful pace of the evening, Bengi & Jake’s elopement reminds us that when you strip everything down to what really matters, the result is something unforgettable.

This Lake Austin sunset celebration wasn’t about a timeline or a guest count—it was about presence, intention, and the kind of love that makes everything else fade away.
